We invest with a long-term perspective and typically have more flexibility on the nature and timing of exits and realizations than the conventional private equity investor. Investments may range from service to manufacturing businesses, from asset rich enterprises to those with few tangible assets but good potential cash flow. The industries in which we will invest are varied. The common thread is that we seek to invest in companies whose growth and development will benefit from the power that comes from a strong, stable, loyal and experienced investor. We look for friendly transactions that are supported by management who, ideally, co-invests alongside us. Many of our opportunities will come to us through our extensive network of business contacts and relationships rather than through a blind auction process.
